The glass flowers made between 1887 and 1936 by Leopold and Rudolf Blaschka in Dresden, Germany. 847 life-size models, some 780 species and varieties. Originally commissioned Dr. George Lincoln Goodale first curator of the Botanical Museum. 127 pages b/w colour. see also Kredel, Fritz 1940 and Ames, Oakes 1955.
